Information Systems of Maryland (ISM), LLC is seeking a Senior Account Executive (AE) with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our growing team. ORGANIZATIONAL STATUS:

This position reports to the Director of Sales and will interface with executive staff, all internal and remote employees, including current and/or prospective customer(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Acting as a lead Account Executive (AE) on the team.

· Developing long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers.

· Managing existing assigned customer accounts by ensuring that existing customers remain satisfied with company products and services.

· Developing and implementing effective account plans to retain existing customers.

· Identifying customer needs and communicating how company products and services fulfill those needs.

· Developing solid sales proposals to convince potential and existing customers to purchase company products and services.

· Collecting customer feedback to determine product and service shortfalls.

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

· Thoroughly document all activities for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes in our CRM.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree; Candidate can supplement degree requirement with years of functional and verifiable work experience.

Experience:

· 15+ years in the technology industry. At least 10 years of experience selling products, services and/or solutions.

· Sales/business development experience, with a record of meeting or exceeding quota.

· Strong prospecting and business development skills.

· Strong communication, presentation, listening skills.

· Successful track record of sales and relationship management

· Proven ability to develop long-term relationships.

· Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

· Ability to coordinate multiple sales activities.

· Excellent follow-up skills.

· Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

· Exceptional planning, organization and time management skills; self-starter.

· High level of professionalism and integrity; good judgment.

· Good negotiating skills.

· Superior work ethic and high energy level.

· Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

· Computer skills (including Word, Excel, and customer relationship management).

Targeted Ideal Candidate Parameters:

· Location: National Capitol Region - NCR (Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland) or anywhere in the Eastern time zone.

· Varied experience with Public Safety (specifically CAD, RMS and Dispatch Systems (Radio)), Utilities/Critical Infrastructure, Transportation (Bus, Rail, Air), Healthcare and Commercial Real Estate (Property Management or Ownership side(s)) is a plus.

· Ability to solution in order to reduce cost/customer budget requirements thru audit or other means.

· Through knowledge of cyber security, infrastructure and other catch all facets, which are the backbone of the offerings provided to customers by ISM.

· Existing strong network of relationships and/or an existing customer base or portfolio of actionable customers/opportunities.
