 JOB SUMMARY:

The Recruitment Coordinator assists with and performs both administrative tasks related to the recruitment and staffing efforts, as well as actively recruits requirements for active and open positions.

SKILLS, ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference checks (work history, education, training, job skills), and salary requirements; makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
  • Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Assists to develop recruitment strategies to achieve required recruitment levels.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.
  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Arranges travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary.
  • Coordinates and conducts background checks and drug testing for applicants.
  • Develops and conducts training programs with a goal of improving recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reducing turnover.
  • Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring and statistics.
  • Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.
  • Participates in development of annual recruiting budget.
  • Other duties as assigned related to administrative tasks for recruitment operations.

    Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Candidate can supplement degree requirement with years of functional and verifiable work experience.
  • Three years of general administrative experience.
